Master Educator Resources


Not all info below may be accurate will be updating 2016-2017 

Master Educator:
  • Demonstrates all of the District’s Characteristics of a Master Educator with a consistent, high level of quality. 
  • Possesses a Doctorate or Masters Degree, National Board Certification, or DPI Master Educator License.
  • Completed at least 14 years as an educator. 
Advanced Educator:
  • Demonstrates majority of the District’s Characteristics of a Master Educator with a consistent, high level of quality.  
  • Possesses a Doctorate or Masters Degree, National Board Certification, or DPI Master Educator License.
  • Completed at least 14 years as an educator.
Professional Educator:
  • Demonstrates many of the District’s Characteristics of a Master Educator with a consistent, high level of quality.
  • Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal capabilities and instructional expertise.
  • Completed at least 6 years as an educator.
Progressing Educator:
  • Demonstrates desire to improve and develop knowledge, skills and disposition of a Master Educator.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal capabilities and appropriate base of instructional knowledge and skills.
  • Completed at least 2 years as professional educator.
Initial Educator:
  • New to profession and demonstrates potential for development of high levels of interpersonal and instructional capabilities and expertise.
